Vehicle Tracking - Yes have trailer tracking all wrapped up
Yes Vehicle Tracking have provided vehicle tracking to All Wrapped Up, part of the CV group. The company required tracking for their vehicles and trailers.
The CV Group specialise in the rental of trucks and trailers, from 7.5 ton to 44 ton vehicles. They also rent 25-44 ton trailers, anything from Flat Bed trailers to crane trailers. Because their vehicles can be on contract hire for up to 7 years, vehicle tracking was essential to keep an eye of their whereabouts.
Yes Vehicle Tracking’s RDM450 trailer tracking unit comes with battery backup for up to 3 weeks and is fitted covertly. Trailers can be tracked with up to one metre accuracy.
Technical specifications:

- Internal back-up battery – 6 hrs continuous operation for 3 days in hourly update mode

- Simple and flexible user configuration by ASCII terminal, SMS or GPRS

- On-board zone alarm function, incl. London Congestion Zone
- Over the air firmware update
- Modular plug-in solutions for RFID, and temperature monitoring
- Pass through data mode
- Intelligent and efficient reporting protocols - to minimise airtime usage and cost
The trailer tracking unit is one of the many ‘boltons’ that Yes Vehicle Tracking can offer in addition to their vehicle tracking package. Other products include Driver ID, Panic Buttons and Mobile Tracking Units. They can also offer the Harbinger PDA solution, useful for sending jobs to drivers, sign on delivery etc.
Yes Vehicle Tracking offer free unit, installation and training and they don’t tie their customers to a long term lease. Included is the software ‘My Yes’ which gives users 1 minute updates, full management reports, full UK and world maps – photo and hybrid - for a free demo call 0844 209 1505.
