The New Mercedes-benz S 600 Guard Pullman
Mercedes-Benz, a German brand name of automobiles, coaches, buses, trucks, Auto Parts and accessories such as Mercedes brake dust shields and Mercedes brake dust cover ---- is currently working on a prestigious luxury limousine integrated with the highest thinkable protection applicable for those who are in the government, businesses, heads of state and monarchs.
The Mercedes-Benz State Limousine will provide not only a high level of protection but also roominess and comfort that is worthy of a king. The Stuttgart-based manufacturer is the only carmaker that has built exemplary Pullman limousines with protection features that are unparalleled in the industry.
Mercedes-Benz car engineers will equip the Pullman Limousine in Sindelfingen basing on the principle of integrated special protection which means that rather than retrofitting the protective elements in the doors, side panels, rear wall, roof lining, fire wall, etc. of an already finished vehicle, they will integrate all these protection features directly into the Body Shell giving the Pullman State Limousine the ultimate car protection.
Mercedes-Benz will make the new Pullman State Limousine as its flagship in terms of combining quality with comprehensive highest level of protection especially in areas where retrofits is considered impossible. Mercedes-Benz in order to provide the highest level of protection has maintained a long and close relationship with both national and internationally recognized security authorities.
For over a decade such collaboration has ensured the production and development expertise of Mercedes specialists who have continuously applied their experience in the fields of protection technology and ballistics in the ever changing requirements in the armored vehicle department. And according to Mario von Glahn, Regional Sales manager, Mercedes-Benz Guard, Middle East, “The new Mercedes-Benz S 600 Guard Pullman continues and impressive tradition and, as before, will offer the very highest levels of protection, comfort and prestige.”
The new Pullman State Limousine is based on the Mercedes Benz S 600 L Guard model and powered by a smooth twelve-cylinder 5513 cc bi-turbo engine with an output of 517 hp and a peak torque of 830 Nm. The new Pullman is given a new chassis and body which are designed to hold the installation of heavy special protection components. The new Pullman will also feature a rear entrance with increased headroom space and behind the partition enough room for four passengers is provided. The rear compartment is equipped with luxurious seats that are arranged in such a way that passengers will sit facing each other. This type sitting arrangement is a time-honored Pullman tradition.
The best thing about the Mercedes-Benz S 600 Guard Pullman is its high degree of protection especially from possible terrorists’ attacks. The State Pullman possesses a resistance level of B6/B7 which is tested and certified by state-approved organizations. Its armor can resists military standard small-arms projectiles plus protection against hand grenades and other explosive devices. Its additional safety features include run-flat tires, a self-sealing fuel tank and a fire-extinguisher system. Von Glahn added, “Every new Mercedes-Benz S 600 Guard Pullman will display its own unique brand of styling thanks to an extensive range of appointments options including a choice of paint finishes, leathers, and woods. Even the most unusual of customer requests can be met.”
The first delivery of the new Mercedes Benz State Limousine is scheduled in the first quarter of 2009 and can be serviced at any of Mercedes-Benz service outlet worldwide which shows the comprehensive and uncomplicated high-level service concept.
