Baby Girl Arrives Safe and Sound!

I am so proud to announce the arrival of our precious daughter "Leela Alma-Rose" on November 20th, 2008. 8lbs 2oz & 23". Peter and I are so blessed to have her. She is a true joy! She is demonstrating good lungs so I think we may have a future songstress on our hands. Thanks to the bluegrass community for all your well wishes!

Marlee Dyonne, Gilles LeClerc, Chris Barkley, and Dan Whiteley have been immersed in music, songs and song writing for many years. As separate entities their passion for music has led each of them and their recordings on different journeys across Canada, USA and even Europe.

All four band-mates have joined their history and talents to form a vocal blend and instrumental performance that is powerful, addictive and energized to say the least. The foursome combined their influences of Bluegrass, Roots, Blues and Gospel.  Together they produce a sound that is saturated with experience, professionalism, tight harmony and drive. Their journey together has led them to perform in Ontario and abroad. Leavin’ Train’s repertoire consists of many memorable songs from the past and current “Greats” in the music industry and also several of their own compositions, which have become favorites among their fans. Any listener will be thoroughly entertained by their dynamic vocals suspended upon solid instrumentation. This 4-piece band consists of guitar, dobro, mandolin and the upright bass. Their quality entertainment always seems to leave the audience wanting more!  It’s full steam ahead for this “Leavin’ Train”.  All aboard!  Toes get ready to tap!!!
